These terms cover your use of stefanrueda.com and my coaching services, whether delivered online or in person. By using the site, submitting an application or working with me, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who I am
I am Stefan Rueda, a sole proprietor in Dallas, Texas. If I form a business entity such as an LLC to run this business, these terms will apply to that entity as my successor.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to apply for coaching or use the application form.
Not medical advice
I am a nutrition coach and NASM certified personal trainer. I am not a physician, and nothing on this site or in my coaching is medical advice. I do not diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions, and I do not provide medical nutrition therapy. Talk to your doctor before you start any exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition, an injury, take medication, are pregnant, or have a history of disordered eating. Coaching does not create a doctor-patient relationship.
Exercise involves risk
Exercise and dietary changes carry a risk of injury and other health problems. You are responsible for your own health and well-being, and for deciding what you can safely do. Stop and get medical help if something hurts or feels wrong. For in-person training I may ask you to sign a separate waiver.
Applications
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, and spots are limited. I may decline an application for any lawful reason. Coaching starts only after I confirm it with you in writing and we agree on payment terms.
Fees and billing
Pricing is discussed on your consultation call. It varies by the services we agree on. Coaching is month to month. Cancellation and refund rules are in the Refund Policy. If a written agreement between us conflicts with these terms, the written agreement controls.
Digital programs and guides
Some of my programs are one-time digital downloads, delivered as a PDF through a link sent to your email. The price is shown before you pay, and payments are processed by Stripe. A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the program for yourself. Please do not resell, share or republish it. Refunds for digital programs are covered in the Refund Policy. Download links expire after a set time, so save the file when you receive it.
Cancelling or rescheduling sessions
Coaching itself is month to month and is cancelled as described in the Refund Policy. If we book individual sessions, such as calls or in-person training, please give at least 24 hours’ notice when you need to cancel or reschedule. A session cancelled with less notice may be counted as a used session. I will handle emergencies and unforeseen circumstances in good faith.
No guaranteed results
Results depend on many things, including how consistently you follow the plan. I cannot promise any specific outcome. Client stories and reviews on the site describe individual experiences and are not typical or guaranteed.
Your responsibilities
Give accurate and complete information, especially about your health and injuries, and tell me promptly if anything changes.
Confidentiality
I keep what you share in your application and during coaching confidential. I do not disclose it to anyone without your consent, except to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy that help me run the business, or when the law requires it.
My content
The site, guides, programs and coaching materials are mine. You may use them for your own personal use. You may not copy, resell, share or publish them without my written permission.
Third-party links
The site links to other websites. I do not control them and am not responsible for them.
Disclaimers and limits on liability
The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and my total liability for any claim related to my services is limited to the amount you paid me in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any liability or any right that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
Changes
I may update these terms. I will post the new version here and change the date at the top. If a change materially affects clients I am currently coaching, I will tell you by email. Continuing to use the site or my services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
If part of these terms does not apply
If a court finds that part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, together with any written agreement between us, are the full agreement about my services.
